Macaw's are a large tropical bird that in recent years have seen a declinein their population in the wild.  As captive breeding has evolved thishas allowed a healthier pet. With more than 15 listed species known to exist in the willd and multiple hybrids available, the Avarian hobby is full steam ahead. 

As price can play a part in your choice make sure to do independent research about whichever you choose and plan for the space that your animal will need.  While the average size for a Macaw around 28 inches with a modest wingspan, Hyacinth Macaw's, the rarest, and most desired of all Macaws have a wing span reaching over 4 feet in legnth. 

Macaws make great companions and live for many many years.  Though they are not for beginners and need supervision around small children, they're easily trainable, and eat a variety of commonly available foods.

  DOA claims must be submitted within 12 hours of delivery and accompanied by documentation.  We reuest photo documentaion of animal, packaging, ang bagging in order to process your claim.   We are unable to refund shiping costs at this time.  Please allow up to 3 days for your claim/credit to process, credits will be issued as a code to be used during checkout and should be keept secure and are non transferrable.  All claims are refunded as store credit for replacement or future purchase at buyer discretion.   DOA's are elgible for a reduced shipping cost to offset the cost of replacement.
